Bio:
My name is Don, I have been a resident of Washington State since 1978, I moved to Whatcom County in 1992. I grew up in Shoshone Idaho, and was born in Council Idaho just North of Boise. My Grandparents opened the First Boarding House In Idaho, and it was the last one to close.
In December 2013 I retired as a Loan Officer of 24 years. I was a mortgage broker, mortgage banker, and owned my own offices, I was office manager, top producing loan officer, and had a team of loan officers. I have the pleasure of helping many families happy to buy their first home when other said no or refused to help. Helped people build their credit, and refinance to better their financial situation. I did mortgages for State Senators, City Mayors, Employees, Self Employed Borrowers etc.
I reactivated my license with Loan Factory in April 2024.
I enjoy camping, traveling, model trains, sports (wrestling, football, track, basketball, and softball). I was a Bellingham Bulldog player in 2010 National Title Game in Minor League Football. I was a 3x Jr Olympic Wrestler in Freestyle and Grecco Roman Wrestling.
I am the President and board member for a local Non Profit Organization for 14+ years.
My wife Malou Oneida is my unlicensed Assistant with eXp Realty. I married on Aug 8th 2015. We have a daughter who graduated from Ferndale High School, I have ave a 32 yr old son who graduated from Orting High School and a 9 yr and 1 yr old old grandson. My wife is originally from the Philippines. We currently live in Ferndale WA and land in Wasilla, AK, and properties in the Philippine's.
We currently own waterfront property in the Philippines and building a resort on one of the island.
I traveled half the United States on about 5 trips, with Boy Scouts, Family, Grandparents, Football, and Wrestling. I’ve been to Canada, Brazil, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Panama, and plan to make it to the Philippines, Spain, Japan, China, Thailand, Dubai, and a few other places.
I am the President of BPO NW F!X & FLIP LLC. We currently buy default homes, rehab them and sell them in Whatcom, Skagit, and Pierce Counties.
I have been in real estate industry since December 2003, and have my managing brokers license. I have been a REO Agent since since 2010, BPO Agent since 2009, Short Sale Specialist since 2009, Blue Book Specialist since 2013. I also do Occupancy Checks, Home Condition Checks, Fema Condition Inspections, and BPO Reconciliations for BPO Vendors. I currently work with over 50 BPO Vendors.
