Licensed Loan Originators: To save both your time and money, it is highly recommended that you take the Continuing Education (CE) course at mortgage-education . This course is designed to streamline your learning process and provide cost-effective solutions for your licensing requirements.

All Employees: In addition to the courses required for licensing, Loan Factory is requiring compliance courses as outlined below. To-Dos will be assigned to you in your Loan Factory portal, to direct you on which classes to take.

LICENSED - NEWLY ONBOARDED

LOAN ORIGINATORS

Loan Officers who take Continuing Education courses with Mortgage-Education

  • Pay $38 and complete the 8-hour Continuing Education course (including certificates for: Anti Money Laundering Equal Credit Opportunity Act Fair Lending Fraud Gramm Leach Bliley & Privacy
  • Pay $9/hour and complete State-specific education courses if applicable.
  • Compliance Courses (assigned in your Mortgage-Education account):
    • Cyber Security
    • Remote Work Training
    • Workplace Harassment
    • Workplace Violence

Loan Officers who take Continuing Education courses with another education provider

  • Compliance courses that are required in addition to your CE will be assigned to you in your Mortgage-Education account. See To-Dos for instructions.

Go to the corporate page to complete the CE course by this link mortgage-education

Choose the 8-hour CE course option

When an Loan Officer buys the CE course, Licensing will check and notice this to assign the free compliance courses to their learning account from the Admin portal. Please be advised it will take 1-3 days for this assignment.

Choose the state in which you are licensed and click "Continue"

Sign in by clicking on the “Forget Password” button

Enter your personal email address in LF’s system and click the “Send” button. You will receive an email with your current password to log in.

After logging in, fill in the billing and credit card information and click "Continue" to proceed => Confirm the information and place your order.

The payment will be completed and you can start the course now.

Instructions for Compliance Courses

The To-dos will be assigned by the Compliance team, it will include the instructions as below. All compliance courses that you need to take are already assigned to your Mortgage-Education account. You just need to log in and complete the courses per the instructions.

You can also click on “My courses” to review and choose the course you want to take.

NOTE:

For any courses taken outside of Mortgage-Education, please upload certificates to replace the To-Do For courses completed in ME, simply mark the corresponding To-Do as completed, and we will verify completed.

Compliance courses are yearly training sessions and are required for all individuals based on their titles/positions. The purpose of these courses is to make sure that individuals and the company are compliant with state examinations.

Note:

  Newly hired staff must complete assigned courses within 3 months of their start date. After the first year, courses must be completed annually in the last quarter.

Instructions for Compliance Courses for non-licensed staff

  • Click here: Mortgage-Education
  • Sign in by clicking on the “Forgot Password” button. Enter your company email address as entered in Loan Factory’s system and click the “Send” button. You will receive an email with your current password to log in.
  • Credit card payment is NOT required.
  • Click on "My courses" to review and complete all courses in the "MComply - Compliance Courses" and "MSkills" sections.
  • A “Start Learning” button will be displayed in each course. Select this button to begin the course.
  • After completing the course, select the "Get Your Certificate" button on the left-hand side of this page. Save a copy of your completion certificate.
