We are seeking a dynamic Lending Manager to lead our lending division. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and high-quality standards. You will play a key role in building and managing all departments of a direct lender including Underwriting, Closing/Funding, QC, Post Closing, Secondary.
Key Responsibilities:
Workflow Development: Create and implement lending workflows, SOPs, and QC measures for efficient loan processing.
System Optimization: Assess and enhance lending systems for smooth operations and compliance.
Third-Party Management: Oversee daily operations with lenders and partners to maintain quality standards.
Performance Monitoring: Set and track productivity goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Quality Control: Conduct reviews and manage escalations for on-time funding.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure processes adhere to federal and state regulations.
Training and Development: Provide training and recommend improvements to keep the team updated on best practices.
About You:
Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of mortgage processes, including closing, funding, and regulatory guidelines.
Leadership: Visionary leader focused on scalable lending infrastructure in a regulated environment.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with various software applications and quick to adapt to new technologies.
Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years in the mortgage industry, with 5+ years managing lending channels and a strong understanding of closing processes.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with RESPA and related regulations.
Proven Track Record: Experience in developing workflows, SOPs, and QC measures.
System Proficiency: Skilled in optimizing lending systems for efficiency and compliance.
Team Leadership: Experience managing remote teams for high performance.
Third-Party Management: Background in managing strategic fulfillment partners.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $90,000 - $150,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO). Potentially qualify for stock options.
